Mosaic is hosting Night to Shine!
This event is an unforgettable night of celebration, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. Throughout the night, our special guests will have a red carpet welcome, dancing, karaoke, and so much more!
On top of that, we will be honoring the incredible parents, family members, and caretakers for their lifetime commitment to caring for their loved ones with special needs.
In order to make this happen, we are going to need all the volunteers we can get! We will need buddies who will accompany special guests throughout the night, hairdressers, makeup artists, security, first aid, food service, and more.

We are headed back to Mexicali, MX to partner with, Luz Admirable.
The trip will be February 14th-February 17th, 2025. The cost per person is $230 and must be paid by February 7th. This covers all meals and lodging. This trip is limited to 20 people, ages 12 and above. Parents or guardians must accompany children between the ages of 12-17. We have men's and women's dorms on the base with hot showers.
Bring out those Ugly Christmas Sweaters to wear to church on Sunday, December 15th!
It is time for one of our most loved traditions here at Mosaic! Our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party will be held on December 14th, 10am-12pm.
Houses are $10 each and will be pre-constructed. Frosting is provided so all you have to do is decorate & go. We ask everyone to bring a bag or two of candy to throw onto the big decorating table to share. Be creative with your decoration choice and think outside the box. Anything goes on a gingerbread house! Cereal, fruit snacks, marshmallows, you name it!
Houses are limited so don't delay!
Please submit one registration for each gingerbread house you wish to purchase.
Join us for our fifth annual Women's Christmas Café on Saturday, December 7th at 10am. Registration is now open for those who wish to attend as well as for those who want to get creative by decorating and hosting a table for 8 ladies including yourself; there will be prizes for the top three tables! There will be worship, food, games, and more!
This event is for all ladies, including our student ladies sixth grade and up.

Help us supply families with Christmas gifts! We our partnering with Angel Tree, Prison Ministry Fellowship, and Clark County Division of Child Welfare to provide gifts to children of incarcerated parents and local foster children.
Gift tags will be available in the Welcome Center on Sunday, November 24th. Please purchase the desired gift and follow the instructions on the tag. Check the tags closely as some gift must be wrapped and some left unwrapped. Make sure tags are affixed securely to the gifts when they are returned.
All gifts must be returned by Sunday, December 8th to get them to the ministries so they can be inventoried and accounted for in time for delivery.
Each year our partner ministry, Casa de Luz, hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner for the families in their community and we send a team to serve! We will be serving from 4pm-6pm. Our team is in charge of setting up, serving dinner and clean up.

Let's get on mission! We are sending a team to Cambodia this fall.
We will be heading to Anlong Veng, Cambodia, November 15th-November 24th, to work with schools in North Cambodia.
This trip is open to adults and cost $1,900.
Prior to signing up for this missions trip you must fill out this Cambodia Missions Team Application form. Once you have filled it out you can email it back to missions@mosaiclv.org. All applications will be reviewed by the Missions Team Leaders.

Come to DISCOVER. At this class we will find out how we are shaped by God and how He has created each one of us for a special purpose to serve Him and our church family.
This class is the next step after CONNECT Class. Pastor Gregg will be teaching it right after 2nd service on Sunday, November 10th. Lunch will be provided. Childcare is also provided, but you must register each child that will be attending so we can have an accurate count.

We are hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 18th. This free community outreach will need lots of decorated cars in order to make this a success! Bonus: You could win a prize for best car! Our goal is to have at least 50 cars!
Event begins at 6:00pm so cars must be decorated by 5:45pm. You can arrive at 5:00pm to begin set up. Event ends at 8:00pm.

Moms!
We have a group for you to connect with other moms! This group will meet every other week. Bring your friends or make new ones, as moms help each other to navigate the difficult parts of life. Our hope is that women from different faith perspectives will come to learn about the love of Christ at Mosaic Church.
We will be offering childcare for all children, through Mosaic Kids Academy. The cost for childcare is $5 per child, per week. All children will go through Mosaic Kids Academy enrollment process prior to utilizing childcare.
For this event, you will need to register through the MomCo website, www.themom.co/join using the code VEJP. There will be a $37 registration fee for the entire year, which will grant you access to all the MomCo resources!
Men! Ready to flex those brain muscles and show off your wealth of useless knowledge? It's time to put that info to good use. Come join us for Men's Trivia Night! Team up with a few other guys and see if you all have what it takes to be trivia champions!

It will provide scriptural insights and effective planning tools to help you establish a solid financial foundation and confidently navigate this challenging stage of life.
The seminar will be led by David Graf from Orchard Alliance, a stewardship and generosity ministry of The Alliance. David has a passion for financial discipleship and is eager to serve our church family as we grow into deeper levels of biblical stewardship.
You’ll walk away equipped to:
- Create a biblically based will at no cost
- Apply key biblical principles to your financial planning
- Build a secure future for you and your family
Childcare is provided for this workshop, please make sure to register your child.
This workshop is for those in a financially stable stage of life (suggested age 45-65 years old) who want to start using more of what God has entrusted to them toward the things closest to His heart.
The seminar will be led by David Graf from Orchard Alliance, a stewardship and generosity ministry of The Alliance. David has a passion for financial discipleship and is eager to serve our church family as we grow into deeper levels of biblical stewardship.
You’ll walk away with scriptural insights and effective planning tools to help you take the next step in your stewardship journey, equipped to:

- Explore the hidden potential of non-cash assets
- Fine-tune your stewardship plan in keeping with your life stage
This workshop is for those who have experienced the blessing of God’s ample provision (suggested age 65+) and want to explore ways to extend a legacy of Kingdom generosity. It will provide biblical insights and effective planning tools to help you use what God has entrusted to you to bear fruit for generations to come.

- Identify giving tools that support your charitable objectives
Join us as we create space for teaching, worship, testimonies, activities and small groups during this Women's Retreat! We will dive into the storms we experience, and focus on how God is right there with us. We will learn about His divide design teaching us to, Dance in the Rain!
This retreat is at Ironwood Christian Camp. Check in begins Friday Sept 20 at 4:30pm, and concludes Sunday Sept 22 at 11am.
Cost is $210 per person (open to all ladies ages 18 and older).

We are so glad that you have been attending Mosaic Church! Maybe you have come one or two times or maybe you are a regular attender. Whichever category you land in, we wanted to make sure you know about our upcoming class, "PARTNER: Joining the Mosaic Family" on Sunday, September 15th right after the 2nd service (class starts around 12:30pm). There will be a light lunch for you and your kids.
If you want to call Mosaic Church your home church (or even if you are not 100% sure yet), this is the class for you. Come join Pastor Gregg to learn about who we are and how God is guiding us into the future.

We need candy!
We will be collecting candy to fill all the trunks for our annual Trunk or Treat! This is a big community outreach and tons (literally) of candy is needed. Please bring bags of candy to the Welcome Center on Sundays or drop off at the church office during the week. Candy will be collected right up until Trunk or Treat starts.

We are rolling the dice on the largest Bunco game you've ever seen! This is a perfect event to invite your friends and family to. All ladies ages 16 and up are welcome. The cost is $5.
Never played Bunco? No problem! It's a dice game that is super easy to learn. We will teach you the night of the event.

We will host Casa's 5th Annual Corona Bowl! Corona Bowl is a neighborhood kickball tournament that was started in 2020. We will be providing and serving food and snow cones. The event is from 4:00-8:00pm at Stupak Park.
Note: This service project is not suited for younger children. Anyone wishing to serve needs to be 6th grade or older.
