MomCo at Mosaic

Moms!

We have a group for you to connect with other moms! This group will meet every other week. Bring your friends or make new ones, as moms help each other to navigate the difficult parts of life. Our hope is that women from different faith perspectives will come to learn about the love of Christ at Mosaic Church.

We will be offering childcare for all children, through Mosaic Kids Academy. The cost for childcare is $5 per child, per week. All children will go through Mosaic Kids Academy enrollment process prior to utilizing childcare. 

For this event, you will need to register through the MomCo website, www.themom.co/join using the code VEJP. There will be a $37 registration fee for the entire year, which will grant you access to all the MomCo resources!

Cambodia Missions Trip

Let's get on mission! We are sending a team to Cambodia this fall.

We will be heading to Anlong Veng, Cambodia, November 15th-November 24th, to work with schools in North Cambodia.

This trip is open to adults and cost $1,900.

Prior to signing up for this missions trip you must fill out this Cambodia Missions Team Application form. Once you have filled it out you can email it back to missions@mosaiclv.org. All applications will be reviewed by the Missions Team Leaders.

Christmas Giving

Help us supply families with Christmas gifts! We our partnering with Angel Tree, Prison Ministry Fellowship, and Clark County Division of Child Welfare to provide gifts to children of incarcerated parents and local foster children.

Gift tags will be available in the Welcome Center on Sunday, November 24th. Please purchase the desired gift and follow the instructions on the tag. Check the tags closely as some gift must be wrapped and some left unwrapped. Make sure tags are affixed securely to the gifts when they are returned.

All gifts must be returned by Sunday, December 8th to get them to the ministries so they can be inventoried and accounted for in time for delivery.

Women's Christmas Cafe

Join us for our fifth annual Women's Christmas Café on Saturday, December 7th at 10am. Registration is now open for those who wish to attend as well as for those who want to get creative by decorating and hosting a table for 8 ladies including yourself; there will be prizes for the top three tables! There will be worship, food, games, and more!

This event is for all ladies, including our student ladies sixth grade and up.

Gingerbread House Decorating Party

It is time for one of our most loved traditions here at Mosaic! Our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party will be held on December 14th, 10am-12pm.

Houses are $10 each and will be pre-constructed. Frosting is provided so all you have to do is decorate & go. We ask everyone to bring a bag or two of candy to throw onto the big decorating table to share. Be creative with your decoration choice and think outside the box. Anything goes on a gingerbread house! Cereal, fruit snacks, marshmallows, you name it! 

Houses are limited so don't delay!

Please submit one registration for each gingerbread house you wish to purchase.

Night to Shine Volunteers

Mosaic is hosting Night to Shine!

This event is an unforgettable night of celebration, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. Throughout the night, our special guests will have a red carpet welcome, dancing, karaoke, and so much more!

On top of that, we will be honoring the incredible parents, family members, and caretakers for their lifetime commitment to caring for their loved ones with special needs.

In order to make this happen, we are going to need all the volunteers we can get! We will need buddies who will accompany special guests throughout the night, hairdressers, makeup artists, security, first aid, food service, and more.

Let's get on mission! 

We are headed back to Mexicali, MX to partner with, Luz Admirable.

The trip will be February 14th-February 17th, 2025. The cost per person is $230 and must be paid by February 7th. This covers all meals and lodging. This trip is limited to 20 people, ages 12 and above. Parents or guardians must accompany children between the ages of 12-17. We have men's and women's dorms on the base with hot showers.

Come to DISCOVER. At this class we will find out how we are shaped by God and how He has created each one of us for a special purpose to serve Him and our church family.

This class is the next step after CONNECT Class. Pastor Gregg will be teaching it right after 2nd service on Sunday, November 10th. Lunch will be provided. Childcare is also provided, but you must register each child that will be attending so we can have an accurate count.

Men of Integrity-Men's Retreat

If you asked most guys how they are doing, you will get a one-word answer - Good.  But if you were able to dig a little deeper, you will find that most men want much more from life than just being good.

Join the men of Mosaic for a fun weekend designed to help ensure that your faith is reflected by your character.

Date: November 1-3, 2024. 

Time: Check-in will begin at 4pm on Friday, Nov 1st.  Check-out will be no later than 10am on Sunday, November 3rd.

Location: Ironwood Christian Camp (49191 Cherokee Rd., Newberry Springs, CA 92365).

Cost: $210 now, $230 after Oct 1st.

We are hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 18th. This free community outreach will need lots of decorated cars in order to make this a success! Bonus: You could win a prize for best car! Our goal is to have at least 50 cars!

We believe it's important for us to be growing as followers of Jesus! Mosaic is growing numerically so we want to make sure we are also providing clear direction on how to grow spiritually.

Come to CONNECT. At this class we will discover the life habits necessary to grow in our walk with God and with our church family. We will talk about what a healthy, daily Christian walk looks like and what it means to become spiritually mature.

Join us as we create space for teaching, worship, testimonies, activities and small groups during this Women's Retreat! We will dive into the storms we experience, and focus on how God is right there with us. We will learn about His divide design teaching us to, Dance in the Rain!

This retreat is at Ironwood Christian Camp. Check in begins Friday Sept 20 at 4:30pm, and concludes Sunday Sept 22 at 11am.

Cost is $210 per person (open to all ladies ages 18 and older).

There will be a light lunch for you and your kids.

If you want to call Mosaic Church your home church (or even if you are not 100% sure yet), this is the class for you. Come join Pastor Gregg to learn about who we are and how God is guiding us into the future.

We will be collecting candy to fill all the trunks for our annual Trunk or Treat! This is a big community outreach and tons (literally) of candy is needed. Serve with us at Casa De Luz! 

We will host Casa's 5th Annual Corona Bowl! Corona Bowl is a neighborhood kickball tournament that was started in 2020. We will be providing and serving food and snow cones. The event is from 4:00-8:00pm at Stupak Park.

New socks and underwear probably aren't something a lot of people consider a luxury, but for our neighbors in the Casa Community they certainly are! We have reached out to Casa and asked them what are the items of greatest need? They answered with socks and underwear.

We would like to overflow them with new socks and underwear in all sizes!

Please grab a tag from the Welcome Center and purchased the desired size stated on the tag and return to the church no later than August 4th.

Do you have what it takes to be a cornhole champion? Find a partner and join us on Saturday, July 13th at Mosaic Church to find out! This event is open to participants aged 14 and older.

We’ll be playing indoors in the church sanctuary to stay cool. Lunch will be served after the tournament.

  • Entry Fee: $20 per team (2 players). Register today to reserve your spot. Be sure to add your partner's name on the second registration page.

  • Spectators: If you want to cheer on the teams, register as a Spectator for $5 so we know how much food to prepare.

Adventure Week

Adventure Week is FIVE nights of extreme fun for all Pre-K* and elementary aged kids. This is a great opportunity to show Jesus' love to our community by inviting a friend. 

Kids will encounter and experience God through worship, games, teaching, activities, and small groups! This will be an incredible week that you kids will not soon forget!

Parents! Get ready to hit the town or have an at home date night! Our student ministry (along with adult supervision) will be geared up to watch your kids at church.

Parents Night Out will also serve as a fundraiser to help offset the cost of camp for our students. All money will go toward camp. Win, win! 

The cost is $25 per kid (infant to 5th grade). 6th grade doesn't have to pay if they are there to help watch kids. If they don't work then they will be charged to attend.
